Carmel O’Keefe is a registered occupational therapist with over 35 years of clinical experience as a generalist with clients living in the community and in long term care. She embraces a cultural humility and anti-oppressive approach to practice and has first-person experience with mental health challenges. As a former instructor and fieldwork facilitator in the Dalhousie School of Occupational Therapy, Carmel has been able to share her knowledge and skills in the area of medico-legal assessments and extensive reports for those traumatically injured. Carmel embraces client-centered, team, and family-based service delivery models.
